Flying Bark Productions — Australia's longest-running animation studio, home to over 250 animators in Sydney.

The challenge

Flying Bark engaged IronSights to relocate more than 250 animators working across four floors, including towers, dual monitors, and peripherals. Some areas had no lift access. The move was originally expected to take an entire weekend with ten internal staff, but the internal IT team needed to stay focused on global operations.

The solution

IronSights handled the entire relocation independently. Every workstation was disconnected, moved, and reconnected without downtime. The full move was completed in one day — international teams stayed online, and the Sydney studio opened Monday morning without disruption.

IronSights isn't a moving company, but our IT project experience made us the right team for the job. We spent more than 30 hours planning before arriving on site. Every detail was covered, from floor mapping and workstation tracking to zone assignments and timing for the final cutover.

The relocation started early Saturday morning and ran late into the night on Sunday. Our team managed every step — disconnecting, moving, reconnecting, and testing each workstation to make sure the studio was ready to go first thing Monday morning.

As a result, IronSights now provides IT procurement, Microsoft 365 advice, and ongoing resourcing to support Flying Bark's local IT team.
