Yes. IronSights holds NSW Master Security Licence 000109187. All physical security work is performed or supervised by licenced security technicians in compliance with state and territory requirements.
How much storage do I need?
It depends on the number of cameras, resolution, and your required retention period. We calculate the NVR storage requirement at the site assessment stage based on your specific configuration. Most business deployments retain 30 to 90 days of footage.
Do I need an internet connection for the cameras to work?
No. UniFi Protect is a local system that operates entirely on your network. An internet connection is only required for remote viewing via the app and for optional cloud backup. All recording and local review functions continue without internet access.
Can UniFi cameras integrate with our existing network?
Yes. UniFi Protect integrates natively with UniFi networking equipment. For non-UniFi networks, the cameras operate on any standard PoE network switch. We assess compatibility at the site assessment stage.
Is ongoing maintenance included?
Post-installation support, firmware management, and remote monitoring are available as ongoing service options. We discuss these at the engagement scoping stage.
